Lead Management in mideo — Why It Changes the Game?
E-commerce agencies juggle dozens of tools daily. CRM here, proposals there, briefs somewhere else. Every context switch wastes time and risks something slipping through the cracks. That’s why we built the Leads module directly in mideo — right where you already create proposals and briefs.
From now on, you manage the entire sales process — from first contact to closed deal — in one tool.
Kanban Board — Visual Sales Funnel
You display leads on a Kanban board that reflects your sales funnel. Drag cards between stages to instantly see where each sales opportunity stands. On the card, you see key info — company name, value, priority, and owner — without needing to click for details.
The board works smoothly on desktop and mobile thanks to a responsive layout with horizontal scrolling.
Configurable Sales Funnel
By default, you get four stages: Prospecting → Briefing → Proposal → Negotiations. But every agency sells differently, so you can:
- Add your own stages with name, color, and icon
- Remove unnecessary stages
- Restore default settings with one click
You configure the entire funnel in Leads Settings — no code, no hassle.
Complete Contact and Company Data
Each lead stores full information: company name, tax ID (NIP), contact details, email, phone, opportunity value, and priority. You edit everything from the detail drawer, which opens with one click on the card.
Lead Source Tracking
Where do your best leads come from? Now you can measure it. The module includes predefined lead sources:
- Website
- Referral
- Cold call / Cold email
- Social media
- Paid advertising
- Event / Conference
- Marketplace
You can add your own sources and remove those you don’t use. When creating or editing a lead, you select the source from a dropdown list.
Reasons for Loss — Learn from Failures
When a lead doesn’t end in a deal, it’s important to know why. When closing a lead as lost, you choose a reason from a list — e.g., “No budget,” “Competitor chosen,” or “Technical issues.” Over time, you’ll see patterns and be able to react.
You configure the reasons list in settings. By default, 6 most common loss reasons await you.
Activity Timeline
Each lead has its own timeline where you log notes, phone calls, emails, and meetings. You see the full contact history — who did what and when. Activities can be edited and deleted, and the system automatically adds entries for stage and status changes.
For dated activities, you can set a reminder — 15 minutes before the scheduled time, you’ll get a notification in the app.
Lead Owner and Team Collaboration
You assign each lead an owner — a team member responsible for managing the opportunity. The owner sees their leads, receives reminders about planned activities, and is visible on the Kanban card as initials.
Quick Actions and Statuses
From the lead details, you can with one click:
- Mark the lead as won
- Mark as lost (with reason selection)
- Create a client based on lead data
- Change funnel stage, priority, or owner
How to Get Started?
The Leads module is now available to all mideo users. Just click “Leads” in the sidebar menu. On first entry, the system will suggest creating default funnel stages, loss reasons, and lead sources — one click and you’re ready.
If you’re just creating an account — default data is created automatically during registration.
What’s Next?
This is just the beginning. In upcoming updates, we plan:
- Lead conversion directly into briefs and proposals
- Funnel statistics and sales dashboards
- Automations (e.g., automatic stage change after a certain action)
- Lead import from CSV files
